Story
This is the Just giving page to sponsor Robert & myself. On January 14th 2019 the unimaginable happened to our family. I gave birth to a perfect & beautiful little baby girl, Olivia Frost, 18 weeks early, on that day our world shattered into a million pieces. Why? How did this happen? We were in utter shock. I was fine! Baby was fine! She was healthy kicking away until just before birth. It came from nowhere!
Eleven weeks on, at our post mortem meeting, it was discovered I had an issue with my cervix. Right up until Olivia’s birth day I had no symptoms and no previous experience of issues in pregnancy, as We have a healthy full term three year old. So to discover this could of been prevented with an internal scan kills me. It’s not checked for as routine and you don’t have symptoms until it’s too late.
Our team is forever growing, so Robert, Olivia’s daddy , along with my younger sister Caroline & brother in law Richard Olivia’s aunty & uncle, and of course me Cat have decided to run the Royal Parks Half marathon in memory of our beautiful daughter,/ niece, and in her honour to raise money for research. We need to help work towards reducing the 1 in 4 babyloss statistic one of the highest in the western world. Caroline & Richard have set up their own justgiving pages which I will put details up of after we publish the pages. We will keep you updated on training through our Instagram page and Facebook we have 6 months to get some serious fitness levels up!
We will always miss our baby girl forever and will never be able to celebrate her birthdays with her, milestones or those day to day achievements, all We can do as her family is make sure we do her proud, and try to help save other babies in time. So please, in this year that has been so awfully devastating for us, our family and friends, let’s try and make something positive happen out of the tragedy. Help us raise some money in our babies memory, make her proud, and try to prevent any other families having to live with this life sentence, of life without their baby.
