Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Towards the end of November 2016 I lost my boyfriend, Volkan, to epilepsy. Volkan suffered with epilepsy for around 10 years and he was only 23 when he passed away from SUDEP (sudden unexplained death in epilepsy). If we'd have known there were charities such as Young Epilepsy UK out there to support him things could have been really different. Unfortunately, it's too late to help Volkan but I want to raise as much as I can for this charity in order to try ensure that they can save someone else's life and no one else goes through losing someone as incredible as Volkan.

On Sunday 26th March, myself and my friend Nat will be doing the Velocity zip wire in Bethesda, Wales. It's the fastest zip line in the world and the longest in Europe and it's safe to say I am very veryyyy scared.

Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for any donations, it's really appreciated.

Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.
