Story

In memory of our beloved Craig Gill and as part of the British Tinnitus Association’s recent ‘Tea for Tinnitus’ month, the families of the Inspiral Carapets are putting on a very special cake and tea party.

To help raise funds for research and awareness of the condition, Charlie Boon (Mrs Boon’s Cakes) and Karen Lambert (Saddleworth Bakehouse) will be selling a selection of their fabulous home made cakes.
The tea party will be held at Salford Lads Club from 2pm until 5pm on Sunday 23rd July.

Entry to the tea party will be by a minimum donation of £3 (under 5s free) but we’ll be doing our best to raise as much money as possible on the day for this cause which is very close to our hearts, so any extra donations will be much appreciated.

The families of the Inspirals will be on hand to help out and Clint will be providing the music.

Salford Lads Club have kindly offered to open up the legendary ‘Smiths Room’ for the afternoon.

Those attending are welcome to bring home made cakes along in order to help raise even more funds. We’ll make sure we’ve got bags or boxes to take cake home with you!

Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available to buy also.
