We support children and young adults to live their best lives.

Story

In June 2022, our team “Interfood… not fitness” will compete in the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge to raise funds for Seashell Trust.

Seashell Trust supports children and young people, aged 0 – 25 years, with complex learning disabilities and additional communication needs from across the UK. Seashell’s specialist facilities, all on one 30-acre site, include expert education through our school and college, residential houses, family support and sport and wellbeing services.

All of the children and young people that Seashell Trust support have a degree of brain damage, resulting in profound, multiple and complex disabilities. These children and young people are some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in the UK. Their complex disabilities affect every aspect of their daily lives, making even the simplest of communication impossible, which has affected the development of key life skills and vital social integration skills. They struggle to communicate their needs and feelings, even with their own families.

In too many cases parents of disabled children do not always get the support they need, they are often unable to help their children achieve all that is within their capability – even basic life skills.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
