Between September 2012 and September 2013 I embarked on a year of fundraising for HOPE against Cancer after I was made an ambassador for them. AYEARFORHOPE was a huge success and raised nearly £8,500 - http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ayearforhope .

I have decided that I want to challenge myself even further and that is why I have set myself the challenge of going from complete triathlon novice to Ironman in less than 2 years.

2014 will be my year of training - this will include the Ashby20, the London Marathon, a number of sprint triathlons, the Leicester marathon and a 24h ultra marathon. These events will build my fitness and strength needed to complete the full IRONMAN distance set for 2015 at Weymouth.
