Story
A team of Poachers will be taking on a series of gruelling fitness challenges throughout a 24-hour period on Thursday 6th December in order to raise money for the Royal Anglian Benevolent Fund.
Sam Leach, Rikki Maling, Scott Seaton-Norton and Elliot Evans will be completing a high intensity workout on the hour every hour, for 24 hours. The workout will consist of a variety of different fitness movement such as Olympic lifting, strength and conditioning, gymnastic and cardiovascular exercises.
Geoff Bowery, Richie Quinn and Brad Salsi will also be contributing to the 24-hour challenge by completing an army fitness test every hour for 24 hours (consisting of 44 press ups, 50 sit ups and a 1.5 mile run in under 10 minute 30 seconds).
A 10k distance on the watt bike will be completed by Carl Lawrance on the hour every hour.
We aim to put our minds and bodies to the ultimate test to raise as much money as possible to help those in the Royal Anglian Regiment who are in need, hardship or distress. Anything you are able to donate to support us in this Iron Poacher challenge is greatly appreciated.
