Story
We are organising an awareness event in partnership with Stonewall and London Business School Leadership Institute to discuss how business and communities can support those who have been the targets of prejudice and discrimination in the workplace.
We hope to focus on the work of distinguished academics, together with insight from the public sector, private sector and charities. Everyone is welcome and everyone’s insight is gratefully appreciated!
We hope to see you on 15 March at London Business School for what we hope is an excellent and thought-provoking debate!

About us
A team of Civil Servants and I have joined together to raise money for Stonewall during the early months of 2017. Stonewall works to promote acceptance without exception, making sure that those who identify as LGBT always have someone to turn to and somewhere to go.
The importance of promoting equality and acceptance more broadly is made clear by the story of one of the members of our team. When Jak was 15 he was thrown out of his home because of his sexuality, forced to spend months living on the streets. During this time Jak became severely depressed and even contemplated suicide. Stonewall were instrumental in not only helping to make sure Jak had a place to sleep and food to eat, they also supported him as he sought to join the Civil Service by providing him with the work experience and practical necessities that he needed in order to begin building a life for himself.
Without Stonewall's support it is certain that Jak would not be where he is today and this shows why Stonewall is a charity deserving of your support . Crucially one hopes that with enough support Stonewall can help change the world into a place where people such as Jak would not find themselves in such desperate situations.
