I very sadly lost my Father in March this year. His last week was spent in Leckhampton Court Hospice, one of the Sue Ryder hospices. I am raising money not only by running the London Marathon in 2019, but also by completing the London to Brighton 100k Ultra. The London to Brighton takes place on the May bank holiday weekend and finishes on what would have been Dad's 72nd birthday. I will be 28 at the time of the race, so I want to run 72 kilometres for Daudi and 28 for me.

We feel exceedingly fortunate for Dad to have been able to spend his last days at Leckhampton Court, all the staff were phenomenally warm and welcoming and it was such a great place for Dad to be able to live out his final days. Both as a show of gratitude and to try and help other people who find themselves in that scenario, I would love to be able to raise some money for the Hospice. The care Dad received was incredible and the emotional care the rest of the family received was second to none.

£18 could pay for an hour of hospice care and £140 could pay for a hospice nurse for the day. So any donation, large or small, would be incredibly gratefully received.
