There three of us are climbing Kilimanjaro in October & have decided to take the opportunity to raise money for The Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association. They are the umbrella body for all of the incredible mountain rescue teams in Cumbria. On average there are over 500 call outs a year to incidents in the Lake District fells. 

As keen fell walkers, Jago is even a member of the Coniston Mountain rescue team, we have witnessed the incredible work done by the various teams. We hope that we don't ever require their services personally but if we do we would feel better knowing we had raised some money for them!
