Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year I suffered from depression, so much so I attempted to kill myself. It was something I was scared and very ashamed off. I didn't tell anyone about my depression. I saw it as being weak. I thought I was alone. Once I started talking about it and sharing my experience I was amazed by how many people have suffered and are suffering themselves, all feeling the same way.

So I want us all to talk. I want us to not be ashamed. I want to eradicate the stigma that seems to be attached to depression and suicidal thoughts.

The more we talk, the better we all are.

I will be running the Liverpool Half Marathon - 25th May, The Southport Half Marathon - 6th July, Aintree 10K -28th September, Chester Metric Marathon - th October, Wirral Half Marathon - 12th October and the Croxteth Park 10K - 19th October.
