Firstly; What is a Wobbleberry?!

 Key Characteristics:

- not currently fit enough to get round a cross country course
- not currently brave enough to get round a cross country course
- old enough to know better, and know that this will hurt!
- dedicated - to raising money, to training, and conquering the fear
- supportive of each other - aiming to be weeble-esque, "we wobble, but we don't fall down".
A shy, elusive creature, the wobbleberry's natural habitat is spectating at BE events, and supporting other riders - but all this is about to change!!!

I am all of the above. The dedicated to raising money part is down to Hannah Francis. This young girls fight against cancer changed my attitude to my whole life and everyone in it. Through watching her I learned gratitude for what I have and who I am. I realised that I have no time to waste on the negative and need to make the most of every day and every person in my life. 

I had written myself off as an oldie, destined to plod aimlessly around roads and parks on my horse Daisy, safe and sound. Then I read about Hannah, watched her fight to live and make the most of the time she had when she found out her cancer was terminal. I decided I was not going to plod aimlessly to the end of my days and joined the Wobbleberry challenge to push myself and my horse to improve and achieve something (taking part in a BE80 event) that I never thought possible. I am doing it in memory of Hannah #kickingcancersbutt and in support of all of those fighting cancer now and in the future.
