Bonjour! As some of you may know, on April 8th 2018, I will be taking part in the Paris Marathon to raise money for a fantastic charity. The total distance of 42km will be no easy task. Like all good things in life, it will require hard work (a miracle) to accomplish. Healthy eating, early mornings and physical exercise are what lies ahead. With minimal running experience and my physical state questionable, the odds have never been stacked higher. Nevertheless, with a great cause to motivate me, I have decided to take on the challenge and give it some va va voom.

The money I raise will be donated to the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART). The charity supports communities suffering from conflict and persecution in places with no international attention and outside help. They aim to rebuild people’s lives and give communities a chance to live a peaceful life.

The work carried out by HART in bringing light to hidden suffering, facilitating humanitarian relief and fostering sustainable development is truly unique and amazing. I realise it is sometimes hard to relate to causes like this, but believe me when I say, any donation will make a huge difference to people less fortunate than you and me!
