James is running the Singapore Marathon, while Amy & Tiffany are running the Singapore Half Marathon on December 9 to raise enough funds for the Manor Mead school, UK, to purchase a much required Leckey Myway Walker.

Manor Mead School is a Special School for primary children (aged 2-11) with severe/profound and complex learning difficulties, some of whom have an autistic spectrum disorder in addition to their learning difficulty.

James has person connections with Manor Mead, from 5 years old when his older brother joined as a student, as well as his mother working there over the past 15 years as a member of the teaching staff. It would be great to provide the school with the Leckey Myway Walker as I have seen first hand the great job that school does, despite the limited budget that they are given.

Amy & Tiffany will be running the half marathon and join James in raising funds for Manor Mead School as they were inspired by James' initiative after hearing about the cause. They have decided to dedicate their runs to help fund raise for the children at the school and hope that broadening the global reach from UK, Singapore, Canada,  Hong Kong and beyond will help us achieve our target.

Lecky work around the world to research, develop and supply innovative, quality postural support and therapy equipment that improves the lives of children and adults with disabilities. The Myway Walker 'enables children with disabilities to interact with their world and lead fulfilling, happy lives.' The walker will give children the ability to walk independently as it supports their body weight and posture while using it.

Thank you for your time.
