In June, I will be volunteering with International Service for 12 weeks on a development programme in Ghana. This is part of International Citizen Service (ICS) which is a scheme uniting young people in the fight against global poverty. I will be working alongside volunteers in Ghana on a project which aims to empower some of the worlds most marginalised people. In particular; women, children, disabled people and those living with HIV/AIDS. We work so that this empowerment enables them to escape the cycle of poverty and inequality.

I need to raise £800 for International Service who are one of the respected development charities who deliver ICS. You can check out their work here:
