Raleigh International is a youth development charity, creating growth in young adults through team work in underprivileged countries. I hope that by leading this expedition I can inspire, challenge and develop those who come with me, whilst giving something truly life changing back to our host country.  The expedition will be hard, with a large amount of trekking throughout the days and nights, the end of which is not rewarded with rest, but with the opportunity to work on a charitable project for those who live under the poverty line. Such projects may be Installing gravity-feed water systems, Building kindergartens or Constructing eco-sanitation units.  We will start our expedition from Sabah – in the north of Borneo. Many people in Sabah are living below the poverty line, and it has the highest level of poverty in Malaysia. By sponsoring me, you money will fund the projects we will be working on, and make a first hand difference to people less fortunate than you.
