In under 3 months time I will be taking on the London Marathon! I have wanted to do this for so long now and this year have finally been accepted a place! I have taken part in half marathons before but really wanted to push myself to complete the full 26 miles. My training at the minute is making me realise just how tough this is going to be!

Even though I have been accepted a place through the Ballot, the main reason I am running the London Marathon is to raise as much Money as I can for a charity very close to me and my family, the Harrow MS therapy centre. People close to me will know that my Mum was diagnosed with MS over 15 years ago and in most cases the condition will only ever get worse. My mum used to regularly attend the centre in Harrow and had regular physio to help with her mobility as much as possible but sadly her condition has deteriorated further to the point where she is no longer even able to attend. 

Knowing how much any amount of money I can raise will mean to everyone connected with the centre is really giving me the motivation I need to not only finish the marathon, but to raise as much as I possibly can. I will always be so appreciative of the staff at the centre who used to always look after and care so much for my mum and for all the selfless work they do day in day out for others too.
