In 2011 I was part of a team that raised over £20,000 for a number of charities by circumnavigating Guernsey by Kayak. The target time was 8 hours 55 minutes (taken from the Crimestoppers phone number 0800 555 111) and we achieved the 28 mile trip in 8 hours 20 minutes. In 2015 we are repeating the challenge and hope to complete the trip faster than in 2011.
