Simon Blagden kindly invited me to participate although we may not be friends afterwards!

At the MTA we have a long history of supporting military charities and this is in addition to our normal activities. Engineers are in short supply in the UK and we would like industry and the armed forces to cooperate even more closely for mutual benefit.

To help raise money the BBBR16 is a cycle ride from the battle fields of France to London over 5 days covering approx. 70 miles per day come rain, hail, wind or shine. 

I just hope that my medevac insurance remains valid!
