Story
The ' Model Officers Mess' facebook group celebrate’s their 5th birthday with the birthday bash challenge. Live streaming throughout the 48hr starting on the 19th March until the 21st March 2021
The challenge is to build any type of 1/48 scale model in a 48 hour period from start to finish. So come and join us in the challenge, with us in the back ground as support through out the build but make sure you donate.
International entries - this year i want to try and encourage our members around the world to get involved and allowances is being made in the rules. So hopefully the world is truly open to get involved. All i would ask is that you make your timezone clear in your entry to save confusion.
Another reason to get involved and make a donation, we will randomly pick out a name from those that donate for some free give aways throughout the 48hrs live stream.
Models for Heroes provide a reliable supply of quality scale model kits and relevant modelling materials to over 40 localised and national military and mental health organisations in the UK. On average we facilitate 150 veterans per month with therapeutic activities. We also promote and teach the scale modelling hobby as a benefit to mental and physical health, loneliness and well-being.With 100 enthusiastic volunteers and the full support of the modelling community we can continue to flourish.
