We enable people with blood cancer to survive by finding them stem cell donors

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  Well, I did it, and got the T-shirt.

A fantastic day....a big thank-you to everyone who has supported me over the past few months and yesterday in particular, it made a huge difference, believe me!

The money raised through sponsorship will further the work The Anthony Nolan Trust does - it takes back lives from leukaemia by providing life-saving bone marrow donors to hundreds of children and adults waiting for transplants. Anthony Nolan’s aim is to recruit these new young volunteer donors from universities across the UK. Younger donors, particularly from this age group, often mean significantly improved recovery rates for patients after transplants, but they currently only comprise 6% of the total register.

Giving through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Anthony Nolan Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thank-you for taking the time to read this.  I would be very grateful if you would assist me in achieving my fund raising target.
