Story

Hello there,

Thank you for taking the time to click on my page and have a read. I’m running the Hackney Half in memory of my Dad who passed away from cancer in June 2003. Due to some ongoing health concerns following my experience with Covid last year, I had to postpone my half marathon activities twice - but I’m now back and fully in training for the Hackney Half in 2023.

MacMillan continue to do such vital work for people living with cancer, and they need our money and support more than ever. That statistic that one in two of us will face cancer at some point in our lives continues to be particularly sobering.

If you can spare some cash to support my endeavour, I really would be most appreciative.

With love and thanks,

James x
