Please help me to raise money to beat cancer for generations to come, so that the huge number of people who suffer and die at the hands of cancer, don't have to go through what people like my dad suffered when he died of a rare cancer, angiosarcoma in December 2011. 

I've lost 5 and a half stone with Slimming World to take on this challenge on Sunday, 20th May. I was never a runner, but I've challenged myself to take this on. Last year, I completed a 5K, 10K and the GNR. This year, I'm taking this on, as it's a solo challenge; just me from start to finish and all 13.1 miles of it through the great city of Manchester.
