Each year we choose a charity to support during the autumn and winter months, this year our entire FD Team will be organising events to raise much needed funds for our truly brilliant local Children's Hospice Brian House.
Our next event is our ever popular 'Flower Design Bake Off' on 29th November at 1pm here at FD HQ, Bakers and Judges are very much in demand and a minimum donation made on this page of £5 will provide you with a delicious coffee, cake and an opportunity to be a Bake Off Judge or Champion.
We have three categories Amateur Baker of the Year, Junior Baker of the Year (Under 12yrs) & Professional Baker of the Year
Each Baker pays £5 to enter their Bake or to be a Judge just make a £5 donation on this Just Giving Page for Brian House Children’s Hospice
We can have as many cakes and as many judges as we can fit in last year we had 47 cakes and over a 100 judges raising £1000 from the Bake Off, fabulous Trophies are presented courtesy of Peter Jackson the Jeweller, you'll see beautiful professional images by @James Jebson and it'll be filmed by @RT Productions there's some amazing prizes including Dinner at Twelve, Afternoon Tea at Bartle Hall etc etc
This years title is 'Flower & Botanical Inspired Bakes’
It can be any bake at all, Cakes, Buns, Biscuits, Breads, Fridge Cakes (Not strictly baked but hey!!!) absolutely anything at all.

After the bake off the un-eaten bakes are taken to ‘Comfort Zone’ at North Shore Methodist Church for the Homeless to enjoy.
Our Third event really is a team effort, Jason & Chloe are putting together a stealth team of 'would be Runners' for the Lytham Windmill 10K Sunday 12th November 11:05am , if you would like to join in please message Jason for entry forms and information to join our team page, T Shirts will be provided. Our Fourth set of events will run throughout December with our annual 'Christmas Wreath & Garland Making Workshops' a contribution from each session will be made here, to book in please email jane@flowerdesign.co.uk
Our first event was a huge success our 'Gin Botanicals Evening' on the 18th of October here at FD HQ, our team created designs that were good enough to 'Drink' using only heady Gin Botanicals, we enjoyed a full on Gin tasting and a Gin Bar with 'Expert' instruction in the art of tasting by Seb Heeley Co-Founder and Master Distiller MANCHESTER GIN!!! and we all enjoyed the iconic Bite Club experience so far this event has raised £1600 many thanks to all of you came along and supported our efforts.
