Jane was a vibrant, young mother of two. Originally from Liverpool, Jane settled in North Wales following her role as a police officer in the Cheshire Constabulary. She was a sporty fun loving person, from a large family. Jane enjoyed music and playing sport, and had a wide group of friends that she enjoyed spending her time with. Her two boys were the main focus of her life whom she loved dearly. Jane sadly passed away on the 3rd January 2018, leaving behind her two sons, two brothers and her mum and dad. Jane, as a very caring person, would have wanted to help others when she could. This led us to pick Imagine Independence Charity to raise money in her memory.
Imagine Independence is a charity dedicated to helping people with mental and physical health issues live their lives as independently as possible. We have services across four main locations; Merseyside & Lancashire, Greater Manchester, London and Cumbria.
Our services provide creative and innovative support for approximately 2,000 people a year, who are struggling with a wide range of issues – including multiple health issues, drug and alcohol issues as well as ex-offenders.
Offering person-centered support, we empower people to increase opportunities in all aspects of their life; housing, work and vocational goals, developing positive relationships, community networks and opportunities, healthy living, self management and personal resilience.
