CAFT helps children aged 17 and under who through no fault of their own miss out on the normalities of childhood. A free day visit, residential stay or themed visit, provides these children with a much needed opportunity to have fun & laughter and to simply enjoy being children.

Story

Every now and again we come across a charity that blows us away, not just for the nature of what they do, but the selfless dedication shown by all their staff and volunteers.

Children's Adventure Farm Trust are a Cheshire based charity who provide a variety of programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children. The needs of the children range from complex and severe physical and learning disabilities, sensory impairments and terminal illnesses through to children who act as Carers for a family member, those dealing with bereavement and children who have been victims of abuse.

In a day and age when we moan when our Sky Plus crashes you just need to visit CAFT and see them. Personally, I hate clichés, but if you ever need a reset button to put your life into perspective, then you need to see what this charity does. It is truly humbling.

CDL have teamed up with CAFT and a team of five from CDL will be attempting to summit Kilimanjaro in October. Our collective goal is to raise a minimum of £30,000, thus we need everybody's help! If you would like to sponsor us, please visit our JustGiving page at
