Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Too many people close to me have battled cancer and continue to do so. They get no warning, they get no time to train and get fit for what is ahead and yet their strength, their determination and the support from those around them is what gets them through each day. It is now thought that Cancer will touch all our lives at some point, 1 in 3 will take on the fight directly. We need continued research and development to find new treatments and cures so that hopefully that story will change for the little ones coming behind us.

Having trained at a young age to be at the top of my game on the stage, I am enjoying every step of this journey mastering a new skill and a new discipline before stepping into the ring for a brilliant cause. It is definitely not something I am comfortable with or expected to be doing 6 months ago, however stepping out of my comfort zone, pushing myself both mentally and physically (questioning my sanity at regular intervals!) has reminded me of what our bodies are really capable of when we push them beyond a certain limit.

I will keep you posted on my progress in the weeks ahead and thank you in advance for all your support - financially or otherwise, it is all greatly appreciated.
