To mark my 60th year on the planet, I want to do something for other people on the planet who are not in such a privileged position. Having worked with charities before in Africa, I know first-hand what a difference our cash can make to real lives when properly distributed. 500 Miles is a charity that does just that, providing prosthetics (artificial limbs costing an average of £175) to children and adults who need them. Lack of mobility in African villages is a real life changer, leading to isolation and blighted lives. So help my creaking limbs to help theirs! Having started training on a very wet Edinburgh-St Andrews ride (68 miles) mine are very rusty!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please use Jeremy's 500 Miles Malawi Cycle page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
