We help blind children and young people to live their lives without limits

Story

I'm going to try to climb the tallest mountain in each of Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scaffell Pike) and Wales (Snowden) inside 24 hours. Allowing for 11 hours driving between the peaks that's 13 hours to do all the climbing. I'll cover 26 miles and 11,178 feet of ascent. I'm doing this as part of a team from Army Bootcamp Fitness. We are actually targeting 22 hours all in.

I've chosen to support The Royal Society for Blind Children. More than anything, I'd be lost without my sight. When I get to the top of each peak I'll be able to take in the wonderful views. I cannot imagine not being able to see them, or my wife's face, or my children's smiles. I can drive, watch movies, walk freely down the street, work on my computer, see my food, type this message, climb three mountains. I feel lucky for that, and want to do the climb for a reason. Blind children seem like a very worthwhile cause to me, so I hope you'll help me help them.

Thank you.
