Sometimes in life we all need a helping hand.

The YMCA is a wonderful charity that provides help and support for disadvantaged young people and families. This help often arrives at points of crisis in their lives, including when affected by homelessness.

I've been a trustee for YMCA Norfolk for the last 5 years and so running the marathon is a way of further supporting a cause I really believe in.

The last year has also been a time of big changes in my own life. I have needed the help and support of others and have been so very grateful to find it. So it feels like now is the best time to take up this challenge.
