I've got back in the saddle, have been packing in the hours of training (rain or shine!) to raise money for a deserving cause.
The XP Support Group has received extensive commitment from my family for many years, and now it is my turn to step up to the mark (quite literally).
Gill & Sarah have helped out at the Owl Patrol night camp for a number of years, providing welcome respite to families who don't get to live a regular life like the rest of us.
The XP Support Group supports families with Xeroderma Pigmentosum, a rare genetic defect that causes skin cells to be damaged by UV light which in turn leads to skin cancer. Patients are 1000 times more likely to develop skin cancer.
Any donations will be massively appreciated, and I can't wait to face this challenge on behalf of such a worthy cause.
I will be participating in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 on 29th July.
