Raising the bar year after year
For the fourth year in a row JFC will put power to the pedal in a bid to raise the stakes for 3 charities very close to their hearts.
In previous years the cyclists have embraced the breath-taking views of the West Coast of Ireland, endured late night ferry crossings, the unforgiving hills of the Snowdonia National Park, numerous punctures to say the least but all filled with barrels of laughter and great team spirit. This year will be no different on the laughter front, but wheels will be kept this side of the Irish sea.
The challenge this year on the 21st August will be to embark on a 1 day, 1 hundred-mile cycle throughout North Wales, including the North West Wales coastal line, allowing a nod to our colleagues over the water.
The charities this year include the Riding for Disabled (RDA), Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) and the DPJ Foundation (DPJ). Last year the £10,000 mark was made, this year the team will attempt to raise that target.
Kate Jones, RABI Regional Manager, added “We are delighted JFC Agri are supporting RABI with their fourth annual charity cycling challenge. The team of cyclists continue to raise awareness of our farming charity whilst raising vital funds to support farming people of all ages through difficult and uncertain times. We wish everyone the very best of luck for 21st August and hope the T2O challenge is a huge success.”
