*IF YOU DONATE PLEASE QUOTE OLLIE’S ARMY OR OLLIE AND AMELIA*

On Sunday 28th April 2019 James will be running in the London Marathon and has decided to fundraise for a local charity, Ollie’s Army.

In 2015 the Carrolls received the devastating news that their two youngest children Ollie and Amelia have Battens Disease: a rare form of childhood dementia. Unfortunately, the NHS has recently announced that it will not be funding specialist treatment of a life-saving drug that would prolong Ollie and Amelia’s life.

Our daughter attends school with Amelia and we have seen first-hand
how well the treatment is working. Amelia is always such a happy, smiling little girl who loves her dolls and playing with her classmates.

We are fundraising for Ollie's Army because we believe Ollie and Amelia deserve to enjoy life to the fullest.

Many thanks,

Frances and James
