I decided I needed a challenge in 2017 and a long swim it was. I've been training in the pool all year and had some very early starts to go swimming in reservoirs, the sea, lidos and the like at weekends too.

The Outdoor Swimming Society organize the Dart10K and it starts in Totnes, finishing in Dittisham, Devon. I'll be wearing a wetsuit and hoping the tide helps me a little bit......
