Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

What inspires a woman who hates running (and exercise in general) to agree to partake in the London Marathon, I hear you cry?  Indeed I wonder myself... it is an incredible opportunity to raise money for King's College Hospital's new Cancer Centre to help treat and support Cancer patients and their families through one of the most difficult times in their lives.

My mum died of cervical cancer in 1999 (when I was 18) and my grandmother has subsequently been treated (successfully) at KCH for breast cancer.  KCH offered such incredible treatment to her that I wanted to contribute to a centre which would offer this service to as many people as possible, because sadly amazing treatment is still rather difficult to come by.

I ask you to please dig deep and give as much as you can to support this charity.

You can follow my progress on my blog https://http://wobblyhatesrunning.wordpress.com/ and on Twitter @josiejo28 #wobbly.  I owe this hashtag idea to my colleague Neil... thanks Neil! :P
