Homelessness is a curse of our generation which should not exist. But it is still with us. Looking at our cities' street corners, it is apparent how this curse is yet to be over. More support needs to be given to the outstanding organisations that tackle this issue.
This is why I am raising money for Jimmy's which has long been devoted to helping people who are homeless by providing emergency accommodation and helping them back to a life of dignity off the streets.
In order to raise this money, I will be sleeping on the streets of Cambridge for a week during my 30th birthday week (11-17 June). I will be living off £10 for the week, starting only with a few changes of clothes and a sleeping bag. I will be documenting my experience for the week.
I am of course privileged to be able to do this voluntarily. Many others do not have the choice. If my challenge inspires you, please donate.
