This year I am going to be taking part in a 15000ft jump which is the highest that any UK company will take you! 

The money raised will go towards state of the art pressure relieving equipment in order to reduce the amount of pressure sores that are acquired in hospitals. 

A pressure sore acquired in hospital not only harms the patient, but also harms the hospital as they are followed with a hefty fine for each one, reducing the amount of funding we have to spend on essentials for the care of the patients! 

They can take days to appear, and years to heal. And like any wound, they can become infected and septic, sometimes resulting in a fatality if they're left untreated. 

By getting a state of the art mattress overlay, it gives us an accurate picture of how a person is laying and how much pressure is being put onto which part of the body, enabling us to help reposition that patient into a more safe and comfortable position to greatly reduce their risk of acquiring one of these pressure sores. 

The cost of the mattress overlay is £2000 each! And I aim to raise half of that for the ward that I work on. Anything great or small is appreciated so please, donate anything you can, anything will help! 

I am funding the jump myself, so 100% of the donation will go direct to the hospital charity, which means none of the money will ever be handled by myself and will go solely towards the purchase of this equipment. Using just giving for the donation will also ensure that your donation is safe!
