Many thanks for visiting my Just Giving Page.  In August 3 former servicemen will commence a continuous 12 hour swimming relay, doing 30 minutes sessions each in rotation. Why are we doing this?  The Royal Marines Charity exists to help the entire Royal Marines family.  By visiting The Royal Marines Charity website you can read some of the heart warming success stories of the support that is given. What is significant is that those who have had this support find ways of then helping others and moving forward.  As a result of past conflicts and the demands of training to the highest standards to be ready to protect our country there are those who have suffered life changing physical and mental injuries.  My team and I hope to make a small difference.  The money raised will go to help those who's needs are greater than ours and who will benefit from that additional support to improve their future quality of life and give them hope for the future.
