John Christey-Casson passed away peacefully on 1st February 2019 after a short illness. In his final weeks he was cared for by the staff at Bolton Hospice. They also looked after the whole family making sure everyone was supported.

John's illness was a shock to us all - it came out of the blue. We found solace in the fact that our beloved John had a safe and caring place to be, with skilled staff to make him as comfortable as possible. John was at peace because he had a quite room with a beautiful view, and a lovely environment to welcome his guests into. 

We would like to use this opportunity to support Bolton Hospice in their efforts to care for people in a humane and dignified way.
