Despite perhaps not being the model Boy Scout, JM was always passionate about one very simple Scout principle - leave a place better than when you found it. This was particularly true of his view on the planet we all live on. Like his commitment to improving the health of others and to social justice more broadly, JM was committed to protecting the planet (with a particular penchant for sea turtles).
