We challenge attitudes on mental health to help anyone affected by mental illness

Story

For all my life, I've never bothered with New Year resolutions. But now we enter 2018, I've signed myself to a series of challenges as a way to pushing myself beyond limits. In doing so, I'll be taking part in four fundraising efforts with four charities throughout the year. I hope you're able to be part of my journey and help in whatever way you can.

Rethink Mental Illness focus their campaigning around removing stigma, which is something that's been bubbling in the air for far too long. While the awareness is there, and people's perceptions of psychological conditions ranging from depression and anxiety to schizophrenia are changing for the better, we have a long way to go, as society for everyone with such conditions to be welcomed without prejudice in daily activities including employment.

Join me on Saturday 7th July 2018 (12.30-2.30pm) for a small afternoon tea party in the idyllic gardens of Insole Court, Cardiff. Catering is included. We will laugh, talk and reflect as well as raising much needed funds and awareness on a (hopefully) sunny afternoon. Interested in attending? Donate £15 on here and your place will be guaranteed.
