I'm not sure why I signed up to this challenge. This time last year I had not participated in a "healthy event" for some 15 years. Perhaps the sheer awesomeness and unfathomable enormity of it all blinded me to what I was agreeing to. Kate bears most responsibility although the idea may have come from Hannah - they both completed (easy) triathlons in 2017. That said, the day is almost here ... three half-marathons, three triathlons, and a 90-mile bike sportive later and we are ready (we think) ... the transformation  from desk-bound slob to finely-tuned triathlon machine is (almost) complete ...  bring on the 1.2 mile sea swim ... the 56 mile bike ride ... and the 13.1 mile run ... Currahee!
