No, it's not a myth, we really are running the London Marathon in April 2019. As you know, we are not really known for our lean physiques or running techniques, more for our drinking ability and talking pish about football all day long. But in our middle age we have reflected and decided it's about time we pushed these bodies to their limits and do something significant to give back.

As you no doubt know, my dad, George Hecht, was a huge inspiration in both our lives. He was the life and soul of the party but unfortunately his kidneys played a part in his downfall and because of that we thought this charity was ideal, as well as a way for us to honour his memory and follow in his footsteps as he spent most of his life raising money for charitable causes. If he could see us today he wouldn't believe that we were attempting to run 26 miles (without a cigarette or pint of lager in sight) and would be the first person to sponsor us in our efforts.
