I have been actively involved with TSYT for the past three years, including volunteering as a deckhand and watch leader all around the Irish Sea, UK and Europe. I enjoy it so much because I can contribute to an environment where young people can challenge and better themselves, individually and as a part of a team, regardless of their background/lifestyle/sailing experience.

TSYT empowers young people, allowing them to explore their true potential from a level playing field, whilst spending a week living aboard and crewing a ship or yacht. Most of these young people wouldn’t be able to sail without a bursary - provided using donations. My target will provide life-changing experiences for up to 50 young people - help me help them learn about challenge.

1. Friends:

TSYT continues to be a big part of who I am, hopefully that might make you vaguely interested in what it involves. I am really excited about raising money for such a great charity - please help me make a significant difference!!

2. Manxies:

A group of Manx teenagers from the Island’s schools (#weareCR) were lucky enough to escape to sea for an amazing 7 days aboard TSYT’s 200 foot Tall Ship Stavros S Niarchos in summer 2014 and 2015 (see photo below). You might have heard about the amazing time they had.

TSYT has an incredible impact on the lives of young people on the mainland, and even in the UK too. Please make any contribution to help keep it going! Every little helps.

3. Those already involved with TSYT:

We all know how great TSYT is, but when did you last have the opportunity to donate?

Lets help keep TSYT going - quick and easy. Dig deep people! And please share this page with friends/family/enemies.

4. Anyone else, and people in Victoria park...

It is awesome that you are reading this, hi! Find above a summary of what TSYT does, and more on the website - Please help send more children to sea for inspirational, motivating, challenging and life changing experiences - I’ll do the legwork.
