Having come home from a funeral for yet another person who lost their battle with Cancer, I drank a bit too much wine, surfed the net and found the hardest challenge that I could.

I have been riding Road-bikes for 18 months, I expect to come last, but riding for 24 hours around Brands Hatch Circuit in memory of my best friend who passed away when we were 17, and my Auntie whom we sadly lost last year, my Uncle who is currently undergoing treatment for terminal cancer and my wife's good friend Ali,who passed away this year has spurred me on to go through a small amount of pain over a 24 hr period which is nothing in comparison.

I'm doing this to raise as much as I can, so hopefully the next generation don't lose people they love.
