Story

Fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and this especially affects smaller charities. Village Water is a charity close to our hearts because it is stepping into provide water and sanitation, which are the most basic of human needs, and something that most of us take for granted. In this period of lockdown , many of us have had a chance to reflect on and appreciate the  basic necessities of life.  For more information on what Village Water do, visit their website at https://villagewater.org/

To find out how Village Water are responding to the COVID-19 crisis follow this link:

We have chosen a route that visits Shrewsbury's waterways and lakes, that reflects the connection we all feel with water as well as highlighting why we are doing this.  It will just be the two of us running (2m apart!). you can track us on facebook as proof of completion!
