I want to raise funds for Marie Curie and am attempting to do this by hiking 26 miles and ascending 1,585 metres in 12 hours including traversing the peaks of Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. I have never walked for more than 16 miles in one day so this will be a real test for me. I am funding the expenses from my own pocket so that all donations go to the cause. Marie Curie provide care for patients with life limiting illnesses and support for families. This is an  invaluble service in regards to quality of life.
