We are running the 2020 Los Angeles Marathon to support underserved children with a love of reading, thereby enriching their lives and opportunities for success.

Story

On March 8, 2020, I will run my 7th LA Marathon to support READING TO KIDS! The Saturday mornings spent reading to kids kindergarten through 5th grade money raised is one part of my participation with Reading To Kids (since 2005); training for, and running the LA Marathon is the other part of my participation (Running for Reading to Kids since 2014). Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about READING TO KIDS, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity.  Every dollar means a means a lot and goes a long way to sustain Reading To Kids!

About the charity

Reading to Kids holds reading clubs on the 2nd Saturday of every month at 8 Los Angeles elementary schools. At the monthly reading clubs, pairs of volunteers read aloud to small groups of children. Kids, parents, teachers, & school libraries receive book donations at the end of the reading clubs.
