As many of you will know my lovely, wife Jackie passed away in December 2018 at the young age of 57 from the long term effects of Primary Hyperoxalurea or 'Oxalosis'. This is a rare disease that affects only 3 in a million people and causes Kidney Failure. Jackie was fortunate enough to have two kidney transplants, one at 25 years old and one donated by myself when she was 45 which lasted for less time and she was on dialysis hoping for another transplant for her final three years. Due to her two transplants Jackie was able to live a very happy, full  and active life, have two children and a beautiful grandchild. I have so many happy memories of our wonderful times together.

Jackie bought me a sky-dive parachute experience for my 60th birthday which I was unable to use due to her declining health and I have decided to do this as a sponsored event in her memory - I am sure there are a few out there who would like to tie a knot in my chute!

Please give generously, Jackie was a truly lovely person, bubbly, caring and so positive and I miss her so, so much. Through this we can help raise money so that others with rare kidney disorders can have the same lovely life as Jackie did.
