We build classrooms and sponsor teachers to help the poorest communities in Nepal

Story

Hazel and I where privileged to to be at the opening ceremony of "classroomsintheclouds" second school project at Bakhapalam in Nepal. You can read our blog here

http://www.classroomsintheclouds.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=83:the-long-long-walk-to-school&catid=1&Itemid=33

We fell in love with these wondefully kind people and children and were amazed that despite their hardships the sense of community and  family strength was so strong.

After running the Cardiff Half Marathon in aid of CITC, we are now launching our " giving cards" , inspired by Oxfam's "give a goat" idea.

A £5.00 donation will pay for a teacher at one of CITC's school projects for a day.  You  can donate as many days as you like .You will recieve a "giving card" with envelope to send on as a gift. It has on the front the image of the girl shown above  and inside is information about your pledge, leaving pleanty of room for your greetings.

Ideal gift for those who have "everything"

Don't forget to gift aid it if you are a UK tax payer, it really makes a big difference

You can provide us with you address via the comments option or email us at kaboodle@tiscali.co.uk       We promise not to use your address for any other purposes.

Please state how many cards you require if you are donating more than £5.00.

Many thanks

Namaste
