Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2011 and am half way through my chemotherapy treatment. Doing this challenge is a way of letting me tackle two things at once. Firstly improving my stamina and fitness to keep me strong through my treatment to come and secondly, to fulfill a dream of going to India while paying a little back to these amazing charities who provide so much information and help to women with cancer and their families.
I'm roping in my marvellous friends and family to raise the necessary funds through fun events from now until August (submission date). If you'd like to donate something to help me on my way I'd be eternally gratefull. I'll put in the legwork in the meantime xx
21/5/12: Well that's phase one of treatment done. Next stop the surgeon then radiotherapy and hormone treatment. Serious training needs to start!!!!
19/6/12: 1 week post op now and 1 step closer to the end of my journey. Took my drain with me to watch Elton John in Birmingham on Friday. I think it had as good a time as I did hehehe xx
